Open House
Each fall, prospective students--currently in grades 5-8--and families are invited to our annual Open House.
Here you will be led on tour by our best advocates: our students! With newly renovated spaces including the Howley Learning Commons, a Media Lab, a Virtual Reality Lab, Robotics Center, Fitness & Weight Room, Kelly Fieldhouse (Basketball Court, upgraded training track and volleyball court), Wrestling Gym, and indoor turf facility, there is something for everyone at the Prep.

Open House Schedule
9 a.m. Mass in the Church of the Gesu (optional)
● Families registered for Open House can officially Check-In before Mass.
● Walk-Ins can register after Mass in the Sauter Dining Hall.
● Walk-Ins can register after Mass in the Sauter Dining Hall.
10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
REGISTRATION/WELCOME
● Registration/Check-In Opens on the first level of the Sauter Dining Hall. Walk-Ins are welcome!
● The Sauter Dining Hall is located next to the Main Entrance/McKernan Family Lobby.
GUIDED TOURS
● Campus tours begin on the 2nd floor of the Sauter Dining Hall and are available at any time between 10 a.m. and noon.
● You can get to the 2nd floor using the main staircase in the Dining Hall.
● You do not need to schedule a specific time for a tour.
● Tours will be led by a current Prep student and include stops at all major academic departments, Mission & Ministry, the Church of the Gesu, and the brand-new Howley Learning Commons.
● Tours end with the the Athletics & Clubs/Activities Fair in the Kelly Fieldhouse (i.e. the Prep’s gymnasium)
ADMISSIONS OVERVIEW
● For a conversation about the admissions process, academic counseling/support, scholarships/financial aid, and transportation, please be sure to visit the hallway outside of the Kelly Fieldhouse.
● The Office of Admission will host two panels in the Cape & Sword Theatre. The first panel will start at 10:30 a.m. and will focus on the Prep student experience. The second panel will start at 11:15 a.m. and will give an overview of academics at the Prep including support offered by our Learning Services Department as well as the College Counseling process.
ATHLETICS & CLUBS/ACTIVITIES FAIR
● Interact with coaches and moderators from every sport, club, and activity offered at the Prep in the Kelly Fieldhouse (i.e. the Prep’s gymnasium).
● Meet with Prep Parents, our Alumni Associations, and DEI personnel. You can even get your picture taken with the Hawk!
● The Kelly Fieldhouse is the final stop on the tour but you can visit this area at any time during the Prep’s Open House.
NOTE: Light refreshments are available in the Sauter Dining Hall throughout the day.
